Harvey's sire, Phidigity Philaris of Lilal (Reme) was a big show scene dog. He had gained 2 Challenge Certificates and was on his way to his third allowing him to become a Champion, but sadly died before doing so.

His mother was a pet bitch, allowing a level headed and calm (yes - it is possible in a Dalmatian!) temperament to go on to the puppies but still having the quality of of the standard for the Dalmatian breed.

THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE BREEDING...

Before deciding on what stud dog you want for your bitch, you should always consider why you want to breed a litter of puppies. Breeding requires a lot of time, patience and money, but more over responsibility to the puppies and mother. You should think of the following before deciding on breeding your bitch:

If the answer is no to any of the above, are you ready for the commitment? Remember - there are always dogs looking for homes, including lots of unwanted Dalmatians. (Check out http://www.lancedal.demon.co.uk for Dalmatians requiring homes).

As we are a member of both the Kennel Club and British Dalmatian club, we follow all the rules for the benefit of the breed. Harvey is available for stud to select bitches, the following criteria must be met though by the bitch (as per the British Dalmatian Regulations):
